It’s exciting times at the barn. We have had 2 sets of babies born so far and we have 2 more goats yet to kid. We have 3 bucklings and 1 doling. They are all so cute and so friendly. They are going to make someone some great goats. Yes, we will have to sell them when they get old enough. That’s the sad part.
My dad bought a doling and a buckling at the goat sale a few weeks ago to resell. We try not to get attached to goats like that. These poor goats were pitiful. If I could meet their former owners it would not be pretty. Anyway, we nursed them to health and got them looking good. The doling has been in the main barn where I would get attached. I feel for the less fortunate and mistreated, so naturally I went out of my way for her. Well, a month or so back my dad was working in AR and a man there wanted to buy her. Dad went back to AR this week and took her. I was sad to see her go, but I was hoping she would go to a good home. Dad said her new owners text him a picture of the goat in the people’s house following them around. The man said she is house broke…she goes out to potty with the dogs. Lol! So, I guess she got a good home.
We have had 3 days of sunshine this week! That has been awesome! It’s been beautiful. We have been working in flower beds and garden. Our seeds have all sprouted and will soon be ready to plant. We just need the rain to go away for a while.
Somewhere around September and October of last year I started having pain in my chest and back. I felt like it was digestive, but naturally there is anxiety thinking it’s your heart. I dealt with it until a couple weeks ago until anxiety got the best of me. I went to the doctor to get peace of mind. He listened to me and assured me it wasn’t my heart. He said he would do an EKG to be sure. He did and nothing was wrong. He said it was GERD and took blood to check for h-pylori. I tested negative for h-pylori. He wanted me on 2 antibiotics and a proton pump inhibiter before he even knew if I had h-pylori or not. I talked him out of that and I’m glad since I didn’t have it. I didn’t take any prescription drugs. I started drinking 8oz of bone broth every day and 2 or 3 ounces of aloe vera juice. I also got down to business muscle testing myself and correcting imbalances in my body. Within a week, I was much better.
I highly recommend bone broth for whatever ails you. It is amazing! We make our own, but we keep some organic premade that you can buy in the store in case we run out. It’s good for you even if you’re not sick.
Aloe vera juice is also great. I had a stomach formula by Aloe Life that worked great. When it ran out I used a stomach formula by Lilly of the Desert.
I hope this information is helpful to you. Have a healthy and blessed week!
